Post Sandy

March 22, 2013
Hurricane Sandy is slowly fading into memory and history. We are beginning to step out and look around our world. Almost five months now since our lives were uprooted by an act of God. Go figure.

Things we missed out on are many, but we count ourselves lucky. Two steps up, one step back. Life's lessons. Still learning at our age. We get a chance to do it better. An opportunity. Alive. No time to waste what life is.

March, 2012

Marching into good weather now. Periwinkle and daffodil see spring. Cold days, but some warm. Real warm. Last days are here for sweaters and onto umbrellas.

February 2012

Cold weather keeping us inside more. February snow arrived with the W-2. There are no more leaves to pick in the back yard. Cattails still have fuzzies. Fox hides under the shed.

Northeast winds are up as days getting longer. Mornings and evenings grow lighter longer.

Looking forward to spring.

Happy Holidays!

We have a new addition to our family. A four pound 3 month old Yorkie named Pepper. She is a handful and taking over our routine at the moment. This makes three. No more, please.
