Happy Holidays!

We have a new addition to our family.  A four pound 3 month old Yorkie named Pepper.  She is a handful and taking over our routine at the moment.  This makes three.  No more, please.

November 2011 Gallery

November, 2011

As the sun's path moves closer to the equator, our weather is turning cooler now.  Days grow shorter.  Sun sets earlier, more brilliant and shadows grow longer.  As the sun rises arrive later and later, cooler colors pale to grey, white and frost.

October Gallery

October Gallery

This is our second month of blog posting.  It includes some of new art completed during a changing October 2011 NJ climate.  We are gradually building on techniques and experimenting with new media and styles.  More changes should make a stronger show in later work so please come back.  Last month's (September) gallery displayed well on the Internet for a first effort. It is right behind this October posting, so please take a look at this group of pictures.

We have been watching blog templates and looking for something better that may allow easier access to a total gallery, but for now this is it.  There are a few interesting templates here on Blogspot so don't be surprised if you see a totally different look some day.  Right now we hesitate to touch anything that might break because we might loose all the work already invested.

Looking back on September's Gallery is an incentive to continue moving forward.   Growing in size and style as an individual artist is always a positive influence on life.  Practice may not always make perfect, but it does raise the bar.
